After-School Sports
St. Francis School offers a robust after-school sports program for students in grades 5-8 in which we compete against other North County San Diego parochial schools in the Diocese.
Fall sports include girls' volleyball and boys' flag football. Girls in grades 7-8 may join the varsity girls' flag football team, which competes in an annual tournament.
Our winter season includes girls' soccer and boys’ basketball, and a chance to participate in the longest running basketball tournament in the county held at St. Augustine High School.
We finish with our spring sports, which include a short season of boys' volleyball and soccer, and a full season of girls basketball. We culminate the year with a fun sports awards program and reception to recognize our athletes, coaches, team parents and volunteers, and families.

SFS boasts several championship titles in North County, including JV girls' volleyball team who has won the North County Parochial League (NCPL) title twice, and the JV girls' basketball team who won the NCPL title two years in a row.
We are a school that is blessed to have so many volunteers help coach, drive, and support our student-athletes at practices and games. Come be a part of our Wildcat-nation!
